Mescaline extraction safety
I found the mescalin extraction for dummies method on erowid. I want to do it but i dont know how safe it is. Has anybody tried it and had health problems? I guess what im really asking is it safe for a laymen to attempt? In case you haven't seen itthe site with the method is in this link: http://www.erowid.org/plants/cacti/c...emistry2.shtml P.S. If i do try does anyobdy have any safety precautions not mentioned on the site? |

Yes it´s safe as long as you follow the "safety" instructions mentioned here and there. Just follow it word by word. I know it says "for dummies", but it´s not as easy as it sounds. The process itself is easy, but San pedro and other cacti´s are hard to work with. Fresh cacti is a pain in the ass if you are planning to use jars and bottles and other household items. Dried cacti is much easier but they are accually quite hard to get them completly dry. And i don´t know if this is accurate, but SWIM´s experiences with San pedro extractions is that yields are lower when using dried cacti. I would also recommend you to buy Peruvian torch instead of San pedro, because the contain A LOT more mescaline. Peace and love!!

Please when incriminating yourself on this forum please use SWIM instead of I. As this protects the forum, and the user (even if they dont care) It be good if people could use it. See the forum rules for more information
