Combinations - Quick question: Modafinil and Vinpocetine

Hey,

I just joined 1 minute ago so I will introduce myself at some point soon, but for now I just have to ask;

swim has just taken 200mg Modafinil for the first time (in the form of Modalert from SunPharma) is it okay to mix this with 10mg of vinpocetine?
Also,are there dangerous effects if swim mixes Modafinil with -

Gingko Biloba
Gotu Kola
5-HTP
Piracetam
Pyritinol
Huperzine A

Swim doesn't want to harm his brain first time trying Nootropics..

SWIM has never heard of negative interactions, but as I'm sure SWIY's read before, many nootropics have a synergy and will potentiate each other. If SWIY usualy uses 100mg of modafinil, start at 50, same with vinpocetine, try 5mg, SWIM hasnt noticed any potentiating effects from the combo, however, he hasnt felt any effect at all from vinpocetine in the past. As vinpocetine is a vassodialator, it is very conceivable that it would pottentiate the effects of modafinil, but modafinil is quite safe, even at doses that are way too high, SWIM read of trials in the multi gram range, there where negative side effects, but nothing that would indicate iminent death, this is not to say its safe at 3000mg, but rather that if you happen to be very succeptible to it after a dose of vinpocetine, the worst you'll likely get is a headache, jitters, tummy troubles, etc... kinda like takeing too much coffee. Not pleasant, but not fatal. So start carefully, and keep a look out for possible signs of negative effects, but SWIM thinks it should be a safe combination, and SWIY may end up using less of each. SWIM isnt a doctor tho, so, be responsible.
