SUblingual vs. Oral?
One of my friends interest was piqued reading about the sublingual route for ativan. He was wondering if crushing up any other pills and taking them sublingually i.e. opiates would have the same effect of increasing bioavailability and a faster onset? Or if it is even possible? I did check the bioavailability sticky and there was some info available for some, but nothing too specific.

Re: SUblingual vs. Oral?
not quite sure that regular opiate pills would dissolve so well under the tongue. They are a lot larger than benzo pills which dont contain other ingredients such as apap. swim would say in most cases no, unless maybe the pill was just the opiate with no other ingredients. The only ope that swim knows of that is designed for sublingual absorbtion is temgesic.
