Some advice for those looking to kick opiates......

Well I have succesfully detoxed. Life is great now...........yea I know there is a recipe stickied for kickin the habbit but I just wanted to post what I did. I used adderal to help me kick opiates.........didn't have any withdrawal symptoms while on it. Used it for a week, then stopped, still felt a little shitty but the detox was way better than cold turkey(done both). Also a little something to help you sleep at night.........xanax k-pins or OTC pills.

So get some:
adderal (ALOT)
sleeping pills (ALOT)

Congrats SwiNeverSober, that sure is an accomplishment to be proud of! Swim is very confused as to how the adderall alleviated swiy's withdrawal symptoms though, didn't the adderall elevate blood pressure and put swiy more on edge? What about all the flu like symptoms? Was swiy active during this time? Anxiety? Did swiy only take the the sleeping pills/Benzos at night time? What doses of adderall and sleeping pills did SWIY take?

Congradulations. this swim has experienced countless episodes of withdrawl. severity of symptoms are regulated by:1: dosage/dose form,& 2: time since last withdrawl event. some swims have annoying disruptions of supply. this may be especially true if the opiate is prescribed. & of course it is when the supply runs out that our lives may become unmanageable. & family or friends decide we have a problem. also there is tremendous guilt over putting ones body thru the trama of withdrawl. there appears to be some resources for compounds such as kratom, ibogain, & ect. but these things dont seem to be available when the emergency arrives. a swim, at significant risk to himself, has begun dosing himself with large doses of loperamide between rx as a method of maintainenc\withdrawl prevention. Swim noticed profound reduction in restlessness after taking 8 2mg caplets loperamide to combat the usual runs. swim has irritable bowel & constipation is seldom a problem. swim began online research of the compound & found yes, it is in the synthetic opiate family. basically the molecular structure that causes constipation with the good part loped off. pre market testing showed prevention of withdrawl in opiate addicted monkeys. one time dose of 60mg in human produced only nausea & vomiting in the opiate niave. Swim has now used loperamide succsessfully in three cycles of supply interruption. here is his recipie:titrate rx opiate down to 40 mgs day one. take 10 caplets(20mg) loperamide at bedtime or if reduction of rx produces symptoms. If you can hang onto a small amount of rx, use 10mg with 20mg loperamide. normally the 2nd 24 hrs after stopping the opiate rx is the worst. 20mg of loperamide every 8 hrs reduced swims symptoms by 80%!!! still suffered insomnia but no restlessnes, & profound reduction of lethargy & maliase. swim thinks that if getting clean is the goal to titrate loperimide downward after day three. USE SENNACOT! enough to produce a bowl movement. be aware of your gastointestinal health. There is no study available as to what effect these high doseages have over time. also be aware loperimide is long acting & when resuming rx opiates it will take a smaller dose if loperamide is still in your system. Swim volunteerd a 50mg dose of loperamide to try to asertain safety, & sufferd no ill effects. produced a bowl movent the next am, & actually slept blissfully the pm before(72 hrs out). Please share this as the hell you prevent may be your own. Please pm any info on the adverse effects of this if you come across any negitive study! good luck!!
