Swim's XTC bad trip
G'day
Swim's spelling and grammer is aweful due to the fact that he lives in Israel. Swim has taken X six times in his life. Swim takes X at trance parties, but he does that rarely. Swim has never had the "day after" effect (depression). During the last two times Swim's tried X, he returned home at 11:00am, ate breakfast and went to sleep. After one hour of sleep, swim woke up into a different reality in which his world was collapsing. Swim says that he was very scared. These two phobia-attacks lasted for 10 minutes. Swim wants to know if anyone else have had a similiar experience. |

Re: Swim's XTC bad trip
Those experiences are not uncommon, mdma has the tendency to cause a bit of a paranoid psychosis in swim when swim has not had big enough breaks in between experiences. If it was severe, that can probably be blamed on your substance being cut with methamphetamines.

Re: Swim's XTC bad trip
a lot of people find they have strange or scary dreams after using ecstasy. I have heard quite a few stories of people having night terrors (cant remember if that was the name). A lot of the experiences involve who have used ecstasy before sleeping, waking up and not being able to move, or the feeling of being paralyzed. People describe a feeling of 'doom' or terror come over them. I dont know if this is what happend to SWIM but its not uncommon.

Re: Swim's XTC bad trip
The first times SWIM rolled, the hang over wasn't that bad, he felt tired in his limbs etc., but had a positive mental state, anyhow, he did have some really "movie-like" events occuring, sort of seeing this movie of a classroom with the kliché dominant teacher. It was so weird.
Anyway, to adress SWIY's problem, it seems "normal" (most of SWIM's friends has all tried this at one or more occasions), and the best treatment is to have some company, which SWIM always finds soothing, and makes the depression/blackhole more bearable. |
