Health - alternative to smoking for cannabis use to minimize lung damage?

I'm looking for an alternative to SMOKING cannabis,i've heard of a vapouriser for weed,do these work as giving up isn't working very well at all and i want to mininise my chances of lung cancer .Any other safe ways to get a quick hit from it as trying it in cake ect hasn't managed to ween me off smoking it ....

or use a vaporiser.It will only vaporize the active ingredients(THC)
Its a LOT safer then smoking.(you won't get any carcinogenics in your lungs,so the risk for cancer is &lt;0.1%

Yeah,a vap. is the ONLY way to go. But beware man. I hope this gets to you in time. DO NOT ORDER THEM OVER THE INTERNET. You need to go to your head shop. And don't buy the cheapest, they suck, the'll just burn up the weed instantly. Make sure it has a good heat regulator on it. Or it will be a super expensive, super harsh pipe.

Personally, I find cigs. to be MUCH worse on the body. My theory is that it's because resign is water-soulble, so the shit on your lungs goes away rather quickly, where as tar from cigs don't go away nearly as soon.
