how to get ssri out your system faster?

swim is on prozac 1x a day 10mg, swim is wondering if there is a way to speed up the detox period following discontinueing the meds (so swim may do some pyschadelics) usually swim waits 2 weeks but is wondering if a comination of vitamins and maybe diruretics could help.... swim is just shooting ideas out there... swim is looking for a lil advice if not swim just has to wait 2 weeks for his salvia voyage... which is a pain since it already arrived at swims house...Any help, thanks

Try L-theanine and some nootropics like piracetam. The might help a bit but what you need to do is not to get ssri out of your system.

You have to let your body recover from the brain changes induced by ssri and that takes a long time.

Also there is a SSRE which has promising properties. But I'm not a doctor and I don't know if that could be any helpfull.

It depends on the length of treatment one has been on with the SSRI. If it has been used for months/years - it will take about 6 months (last I read) for the brain-chemistry to re-balance. This does not mean that a psychedelic or entactogenic won't work for half a year. From what I've heard and read, about 2 months are required for the brain-chems to be restored enough for this. But 6 months - maybe more - is needed to FULLY restore one's brain to "normal."
