Shroom hunting Mushroom Hunting in Alabama

SWIM has heard MANY different supposed truths about hunting cow fields...Some have said that Shrooms grow on both grain and grass fed cattle dung, some have said only grain-fed cattle, some have said only grass-fed cattle...what is the truth?

The yeilds coming from past hunts have been worthless and were very disappointing...Any ideas...Only a subtle effects were felt on the best day...

Its either that or SWIM is immune to Psilocybin (doubtful)

Help would be greatly appreciated...."Grain-fed or Grass-fed"?...which is it?

I certainly hope SWIM is not trying to say that he has eaten mushrooms that kinds sorta look like the one's that change the wallpaper?! I don't know much about what grows in NE Alabama, but i do know this: If you are not expert in field taxonomy of mushrooms and you consume them hoping they are (fill-in-the-blank), then chances are great one will end up as mushroom-food.

Swim only ate them after his uncle and cousin IDed them as the ones they pick and eat and trip with all the time...Pictures online were spot on...spore-print was spot on...He thinks he'll take the risk...Chances are they are the right kind...so whatever...He's heard your response so many times...SWIM couldn't forget caution if he tried....

The Cubensis that he watched the other trippers gave them effects....So we think its safe to say that they were real....

Back to my question, Grain-fed or Grass-fed....which is it...or both?

The cows' digestive systems are different than ours - they eat millions of
spores that are floating around in the environment, and since they don't
have stomach acid the spores don't get killed off. Basically, the cow ends
up shitting out a cow pie that has been already innoculated with spores.
Some people will tell you that grain/grass is better. SWIM calls bullshit
(haha, literally), have found them happily growing on both.

So, as long as the cows are eating spores and pooping, shrooms will grow.
