Sex on Pain Pills

Can anyone explain why it's so hard to ejaculate while under the influence of pain pills or opiates? Would opiates be the only drug that causes this?

opiates constrict smooth muscles in the body, which are the muscles involved in alot of internal organs. this constriction explains why, if you look in the mirror on opiates, your pupils are constricted, and why you'll get constipated if you take painkillers. the same goes for the penis, the constriction of muscles there makes it nearly impossible to ejaculate. to swim's knowledge these are the only drugs that cause difficulty in ejaculating by this mechanism, but many drugs (alcohol, e, and adderall come to mind) lead to difficulties during erection or ejaculation.

Great post, i think another point linked to the topic is that an orgasm is not as intense or enjoyable on opiates as endorphins linked to the orgasm act at opiate receptors therefore in effect you are already experiencing a less intense 4 hour orgasm

so true. every time swim has combined sex and opiates he's actually experienced less sensation, and the orgasm seemed anticlimactic (pun intended). in fact, the orgasm mostly made him feel like passing out, than anything else. swim never gave much thought as to why this might be, but Fantasian, you explained it perfectly!
