whats the legal status of 1,4 butanediol in australia??? is it illeagal like gbl/ghb??

Yes it's illegal, it is in the same category as ghb gbl as far as i know it may have some industrial uses but it is not something you are allowed to buy freely or import. Although you were able to not that many years ago they were selling it in australian magazines!
