Powdering
prolly a dumb question but to transfer from liquid to powder, it doesnt have to be boiled off like people say, does it? it can just be let to sit and evaporate near a lamp/window or something right? wasnt sure if it had something to do with heating up or i dont know

SWIM has known people to put it on a baking tray in an oven, it worked fine.

i have heard the same, but the question was whether it had to be heated when evaping it off, or if it can just be let to sit and evap "naturally"

I'm sure it would work, it would take a lot longer though. Why do SWIY want to do it like this?

SWIM still lives with the parents unfortunately, but is still contemplating the steam method

It will definitely work it will just take a bit longer. If swim lives with parents just put the liquid on a pan and let it evaporate. If time is not an issue then this method works fine.

If you have time, letting it evaporate naturally is the best method. If you do cook it, don't use too high a heat as SWIM thinks it destroys some of the K. Once all the liquid is gone, use a razor to scrape it off the plate, find something flat to mash it around. You want it to be as fine a powder as possible.
