Synthesized psilocybin?
disclaimer: i know nothing about chemistry etc so this could be the most stupid Q one has ever read, but please, im only curious.
is it possible to synthesize psilocybin? im assuming not since ive never heard of pills or powder or liquid you can take that is jus pure psilo and not jus an extraction from the fungus .. only curious.. thanks for all kind responses!

It is possible, although a extremely hard synthesis as all SWIM can find at the moment is the entry in TiHKAL on erowid, if one could synthesize 4aco-dmt and let it decompose into 4ho-dmt or go directly to 4ho-dmt by using the synthesis in TiHKAL #18
