Just curious what's the equivalent of vicodins in an oxycontin? How many in a 40 mg and an 80 mg..etc....

none, they are not the same substance. many would say that oxycontin is stronger; but if this is true, it's not much stronger. hydrocodone (vicodin) and oxycodone (oxycontin) have differant highs. most prefer the high of oxycontin as it's very euphoric and uppity, whereas hydrocodone has that great opiate high so some prefer the high of hydrocdone.
Swim loves both ... and 40mg of hydrocodone will get swim just as high (but in a differant way) as 40mg of oxycontin. so to answer your question it depends mg of the vicodin pills you are refering to. the normal 5/500 hydrocodone pills have 5mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetominiphin. (which mean that 8 vicodins would be a comparable streangth high, though differant, to a 40mg oxycontin pill.) but keep in mind 8 vicodins (for 40mg of hydrocodne) would be 4g of acetominiphen which is very dangerous and damaging to your liver and kidneys. (to solve that problem look up the cwe method of extraction) |
