Aura reading

I was at this party and there was a girl that was reading peoples aura. I thought this was a quite amusing thing to be doing at a party so when she offered to read my aura I said yes. She was not aware that I was tripping quite heavy on shrooms at the time. I could feel every atom in my body vibrating at the time (you know the feeling) and with my eyes closed I could feel her making a "dent" in my energy field. She just said "Oh, shit!" and removed her hands. She wouldn't give me any explanation to what she found so suprizing.
Any comments or similar experiences?

It must have been embarassing for the Aura reader. She read several people's auras, and then she refused to read yours, AND instead said: "Oh, Shit!" to you. She certainly was terribly rude to you.

It boggles my mind that your friends would have left it at that. After all, it's a party, and she promised to read your aura. If I was there, I would have asked her to offer up an explanation (or NO more aura readings).

Since the party, have you talked to someone who knows her well, and asked for an explanation?

You could always send her a note, explaining that your were Trippin' at the time.

Have you ever experienced the effect of Hitch-Hicking? It is a pretty common phenomonon that when a group is tripping and one sober person gets mild hallucinogenic effects just from being present. One may explain this as a kind of placebo effect, while others see this as the direct effect of the the group on the person. Entering the personal barriers of the person. A aura medium tunes into a person, opens up if you will to channel into your state of mind. When this is done to a tripping person, the aura reader is certainly getting more than she bargained for. Imagine going from a concentrated meditative, but most of all open state of mind into a full on psychedelic trip without warning. 'Oh, shit!' would be to put it very polite.

Having played with aura's and psychedelics before, you likely overwhelmed her if she was able to view people's energy fields. Likely she would see the entire rainbow all at once.

I'd grin and smile at her and offer to take her out to dinner.

I'll ask her to read my aura again, maybe she'll tell me the truth then. She supposedly is very competent at reiki-healing. Hadn't thought about the possibility that I scared her, she's been very stand-off'ish since.
My dog certainly seems to be hitchhiking when I trip, we have sort of a telepathic dialoge and he is very facinated when I'm beshroomed.
