Combinations - Codeine and Alcohol

SWIM had 218mg's on codeine around 4:00 PM today(CWE 7,1/4 T3's), he plans on drinking tonight around 8:00 pm. He has heard some people have really bad reports with this combo, seems they were all unexperienced in at least one of the 2 though. SWIM is quite experienced in both, he will also be smoking weed tonight. What are your guys opinions on this? is it safe to do? It seems to me that it would be but im asking for my friend just to be safe..

He also knows drinking and using tylenol at the same time isnt a good idea, but he figures since he CWE it, that it shouldnt be enough to make a difference.

Anytime I do codeine I naturally feel very sedated and tired. I usually make sure I have a bed nearby when I do it. I tend to drink early in the night and do the codeine about an hour or two after finishing drinking. I've never taken codeine first and then had alcohol but I wouldn't recommend it if you're out in public because there's a possibility you could just conk out. I've seen it happen to people.

This combo can be pretty powerful the first few times. I wouldn't recommend trying it for the first time in public. It is best to get a feel for the combo in the comfort of your home, and when you are confident you can control youself, doing the combo with friends won't be such a bad idea.

ok well swim left before any responded and he ended up doin it anyway. Everything turned out fine but there was a few times that he was very nauseas and very drunk, much more than he normally would be off that amount. Now swim knows that when u use codeine before drinking you dont need nearly as much alcohol to get much mroe drunk (at least for swim), he thinks it could be a very pleasant combo when dosed codeine and alcohol in proper amounts.
