kadian 50mg(morphine)

anyone tasted these bad boys before? swim just got a couple, wondering how many to take and if i should just take them or open the capsules or what...

I did a quick google on them, you should try just doing one, but crushed up because its time released, like dont just take it outta the capsule, crush it up into powder and down it with some water. If thats not enough you could always go higher but last time i checked 50 mg of morphine was quite a bit, although it has poor bioavailability, i beleive.

I wouldnt try snorting that high of a dose of morphine, i would say just eat the powder is the best way. Check on erowid for dosages, i remember seeing before 10 mg IV, 10-20 mg snorted and around 30 mg ingested (i think) i cant remember for sure though so check it out.

After reading the site i was talking about, i dont think it can be snorted anyway, i would just try crushing up the pill and eating the powder, though if your into IV that would be the most efficient use of it by far.

IVing kadian would be a bad idea because there are lots of binders in the pill that can cause problems with your veins. SWIM thinks it is possible to IV ms instant release pills but even when doing this, most people recommend using a micron filter.

The smaller hydromorphone (dilaudid) pills can be injected pretty easily, but after filtering, the solution is clear and free of almost all the binders.

SWIM heard that you used to be able to just put a dilaudid in the barrel of a syringe with cold water and inject that. Now more pills contain binders specifically used to prevent recreational use. When taken orally, kadian would be much less recreational than some other opiates orally. On top of that, morphines oral bioavailability is not good.

A micron filter might make injecting possible, but unless you really know what you are doing, just take it orally or cruch it up and snort it. SWIM just crushed up a 60mg kadian (timed release) and plugged it. SWIM would much rather inject morphine but only if it was pure or in a vial. Hopefully plugging will be better than oral injestion. Adding 20mg of hydrocodone to the mix will probably help too

dont snort, morphine snorts poorly in those tabs (atleast mscotin in swims experiance) Best method other than oral whole and oral crushed (be aware of time release and possible od) is rectal... absorbs very well, quickly and more potent... be aware of increased potency.
