Advice for lots of Lortabs

I have an endless script for Lortabs (chronic back pain).Anyways I take from 4-8 a day for a couple years.Well the problem is I just cant get the kick out of them I used to.4 tabs give me a 1-2 hour mild euphoric buzz.My question is if you had this supply of hydrocodone what is the best thing I can do with it without getting to complicated.I'd love to be able to convert it to something better but dont have much chemistry knowledge,or lab equiptment.I appreciate any responses and ideas the enlightened and knowlegable people of this forum can provide.

Funny you should ask this, I just found this forum today to discuss my methods with others(hello forum )

I have been into pain pills for years, opiates are favorite drug of them all.

There are two methods I have heard of for Cold Water Extraction, the first I have done many times, the second I am going to try soon and I can't believe I didn't think of it after all this time.

1)

Crush the pills by placing a pill in between two metal spoons and pushing down, the shape of the spoons will make it very easy to crush them, rock the spoons back and forth.

Dump the crushed pills into a cup one at a time. Then use the spoons to grind them even more in the bottom of the cup. You want to crush them to the point that they are like Coke. Pure white powder with no lumps at all.

Then add warm(not hot) water, disolve them completely. Don't use much water, 50 ml should be more than enough, the cup should be like 1/10th full.

Put this mixture in the freezer, let it get cold as it can get without freezing, 15 minutes or so.

Use another cup, wet a coffee filter with cold water, and pour the mixture over the filter. Let it drain through, this takes a while, 20-30 minutes. Drip Drip Drip.

Take the filter and scrape the mixture back into first cup, add a little more water repeat.

Just to be safe I filter a lot and it takes me about 2 hours to do it.

Pain in the ass eh?

Crush up the pills just like before, put the powder in a cup, crush it completely so it is like powder.

Add the warm water, but slightly more this time, you want to have a lot of room to get the solids off. Put it in the freezer again.

Use a Turkey Baster or a siringe, and suck up the water at the top, leave the solids in the bottom.

This should filter out the APAP/Filers and leave you with just the drugs, of course it isn't 100% pure but it does a good job.

Svperstar thx for your suggestions.Ive done cold water extraction w/ codeine before but never with hydrocodone..usually just to lazy but I am getting concerned about the taxing effects of the large amounts of acetaminophen on liver so I think i'll start .I liked your 2nd method a lot ....simple and effective .


I am also going to give the grapefruit juice and tums comboa tryto get a stronger and longer effect out of the lortabs.I'm trying that today for the first time ....I hope it works as well as some of the posts i've read. thx again thessle

here are a couple of things you might try with your doc:

<LI>ask for the 'norco' 10's: 10mg hydro w/only 325mg APAP</LI>
<LI>tell him about your concern for your own liver. maybe he/she'll surprise you and give some oxy's or something better... no shit, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave you a fentanyl patch for that concern!</LI>
<LI>if they refuse to act concerned about number 1 and/or 2, then ask if you can at LEAST mix in vicoprophen. take the vicoprophen for a couple months, then back to the other for a few months... you get the idea. it couldn't hurt. and remember, ibuprophen's not bad for the liver, it's bad for the kidneys, and it takes a LOT to hurt the kidneys. Better to double check to be sure on the maximum daily doses, but you can take 800mg ibuprophen at once and be fine. they even make them in 800mg strength (normal advil=200mg)!!</LI>[/list]

anyways, just thought you might like my 2 cents. i hate messing around with the extraction stuff because i feel like it's so uncertain... like, you really don't even know WHAT you're throwing out, and what you're keeping! I would only do this if I found an 18-wheeler full of 5mg lortabs in my backyard!

Well believe it or not i'm kinda finding a sort of compromise for my problem. I've just recently tried Kratom from info of this forum and have found i can alternate days between kratom and lortabs every other day and I actually think i enjoy the katom days better (maybe cause its new to my system) but either way its working well now and cuts in half the load on my liver so I like this new combo.I'll give it a try for a while and let you all know how it pans out.

I tried kratom powder--I think it was 10x--something like that and I just remember that it was OUTRAGEOUSLY priced!!


Yeah, I guess it sorta gave me a buzz. definite opiate-like activity, but the 5 grams didn't last more than a day, maybe 2 days.


Any hints on how you are doing the kratom... I know that you can't exactly tell me where you got it from, but mine arrived in the mail from amsterdam.


It was the cheapest that I could find (about 3-4 months ago) and it was the biggest rip-off ever. I think I must have paid around $90 for that little bit.


Please PM me if you have any suggestions or anything that can't be posted here, because I'm kinda in the same boat that you are as far as the LT's go. my biggest problem now is just a HUGE tolerance has built up!


If you can't send me a PM, will you at least tell me what country you ordered from?? and the grade/type kratom?? mine was a powder and it made some TERRIBLE tasting tea....
