Injecting - Subcutaneous vs IM Ketamine

I noticed this article indicates that Ketamine is more effective via subcutaneous injectionrather than thecommon IM injectionroute.

I was wondering if anyone has any practical experience and could comment on this. It seems subcutaneous injection takes slightly longer to absorb into the bloodstream which may be of some advantage.

No it's talking about continuous subcutaneous infusion, not one off subcut injections. It'll all be down to maintaining constant plamsa levels
