A happy ending to my story.
Months ago I had a post tallking about my bad anxiety and having no money for the doctor. Well I finally got the money and went to one. He put me on Paxil and Klonopin(1mg) 3x daily and let me tell you. Ive never felt so good/normal in my life it's a great feeling when you can walk down the road/isle and not have any worries of people staring at you. This must be what normal people must feel like and lucky bitches just take it for for granted.-Emperiorjack Edited by: Emperiorjack |

ah yea good luck man, i have been on paxil for anxiety as well as depression, worked at first then the side effects were way worse then the disorders. i discontinued use of paxil and went through the worst withdrawals i have been through in my life (I have gone through withdrawals, everything from benzo's to opiates) <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn chemas-microsoft-com ffice ffice" />be careful with the k'pins, i am badly addicted to benzo's and it is a very hard habit to brake. the doc i get my meds from closed, and i am down to 1 vailum (i have been tampering down the dosage), o its time to go through benzo withdrawals agian ![]() ![]() <<kind of what withdrawals feel likeBut i got to agree its nice to not feel like every one is watching you and what not, and that what makes it very easy to get addicted Edited by: Red_Baran |

Damn it just when I thought my life was perfect something took a turn
for the worse. Today at my work Im a cashier I started feeling anxiety's again this kinda freaked me out so I took my third pill for the day. It didn't help and my buddy came buy to buy a pack of cigs but made what he said confusing and just made my anxieties worse. then my manager did something that made me mad so now Im in a pissed off mood and have anxiety's but wait it gets better I make a small mistake on a customer this causes me to go into depression. then me and my boss get mad at each other and I go into a severe manic(aniety/mad)/severe depression state(felt like biggest peice of shit on earth). I have found the best way to make myself feel better is to get away from everyone and punch a box and then work my ass off non-stop until I feel better. Once I felt better I apologized to my boss for what happened. But it looks like I have another problem like Bi-polar. WTF should I take to fix my problem. Man If I could only feel like i did before this happened forever I would be the happiest man on earth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You should talk to your doc about this, tell him what happened.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn chemas-microsoft-com ffice ffice" />To me it sounds like some of the side effects i had from paxil (but they didn’t start to happen till i was on it for like 2-3 months) or it could be that your dosage of kpin's isn’t high enough or perhaps you should be using another benzo What ever the case may be i would talk to your doc and tell him what happened. But sorry to hear that to man. i finished off my last script of valium so im going through some pretty bad withdraws, withdrawals feel like not being on the meds (everyone's watching you and what not) as well as feeling like you want to cry, being so pissed you wantpunch a hole through a wall and it kind of makes you feel insane Good luck buddy!! |

thinking the dosage of klonopin could be too low too. Next time I see him Im going to tell him to try to put me on Effexor. Paxil makes me lose my appetite weird huh considering its supposed to do the opposite. Plus Effexor also effects norepinephrine which I beleive might help. Im thinking of buying some Phenibut and taking that with the klonopin to make up the the low dosage. Wish me luck guys. |

Man.... Sometimes it's not the drugs - it's the person. EmporerJack - Please don't think that I mean the above statement as an insult, it is very far from it. Drugs can help with mental problems, both the transient type ( dealing with sudden traumas, etc.) and the mental wiring type (just the way you're built), but they CANNOT provide the whole answer. Ideally the time you spend on benzos (not recreationally, you are obviously using them thereputically) should be spend trying to figure out why you felt the way you did. Western medicine is an amazing thing, but sometimes comes up short in it's recognition of symptom treatment. Underlying causes, root problems, general dissatisfactions in your head - I bet you know some, but you probably are full of self-doubt and don't even realize some of your emotional triggers. It's not just you either - We are living in a stimulus - response world. An age of instant gratification. But there is no Magic Pill. Many people don't have a clue about what goes on in their own heads. Many people don't know the deeper reasons for their reactions. You'll find that if you take the time to be honest with yourself, no matter how painful some truths might be, alot of the other shit will just work itself out. Psychology can probably help you - Talking can be a surprisingly powerful medicine. Anyways Man I just wanted to put a different opinion out there. Peace. |

Just one question - Your family survived evolution for millions of years since coming out of the primordeal ooze that gave life - Millions of families were weeded out through evolution, but yours survived against all the odds that history puts on anyfamily to survive. Benzos have been around for only a couple of decades - your genetics have obviously been doing something right historically before the benzos - So it is also possible to find that strength in your genes? I'm not saying getting off of them - just genetics isn't the whole story - It never is. Our bodies are a mix of of Nature and nurture. Just saying look at the Nurture too. Take care.Edited by: MrJim |
