First impressions of dilaudid & q’s

SWIM ate a dilaudid 8 about 3 months ago. He broke it in half and
ate it on consecutive days. He wasn't very impressed.
Seemed to make him sleep, knock him out and not be all that fun.



Now he's on an IV kick that started w/ a first time slam of Coke.
He recently got a bag of 35 dilaudid 4's from his dealer. In a 24
hour period he's gone thru about 7 of them total. Last time he
shot up with 2 4's at once.



SWIM thinks he must not be doing something right. Most people say
Dilaudid is the best there is, and he is pretty unimpressed.
There's almost no "rush," there seems to be little marked elevation of
mood or decrease in anxiety- the best way SWIM can describe the feeling
would be to say that he feels different/slower.



SWIM's opiate tolerance comes from around 4 months of on-and-off Norco
(10/325) use. He goes thru between 6 and 15 per day tho he's
definitely off more than he's on.



How much water should be used per pill in preparing a shot?



And to finish on a dumb question, what do the people who really like dilaudid feel like when they're on it?
