I don't have a very fast laptop, but I'll doubt that will be a big problem, and otherwise I can certainly borrow one from a friend or family member.
Most hotels and conference centers have wireless internet acces points, usually for free, so staying in touch won't be a big problem either.

I have a degree in Speech Communications and majored in video production. I'd love to go and put this down for peple to see, I just can't afford it at this time. I was Director of Marketing for a video production studio. I have plenty of experience in the field. This would be a great event to record for history. Times, they are a'chang'in. If anyone would like to take me along I'd be happy to be one's (assistant). Beyond that offer I'll be reading the highlights. Ha
Edit:
As a graduate with a degree in Speech Communications I have extensive experience with writing and video production. I worked in video production for over 10 years. Producing, writing and field production (camera, sound, lighting) are my life. I am computer literate. My family owned a computer company. Lastly, I consider myself a competent photographer. Consequently, if elected I could write/post daily commentary. I could video tape any or all speeches. I could take digital or 35mm stills. To be a part of this momentous symposium on psychedelics would be life changing for any of us who have dedicated their lives to the study of such substances. Come on, Hoffman, Dublin, Grassier, Grof and Valerie from MAPS! What more could you ask from one symposium? I do think I possess the skills needed to relay the messages sent from our hero's. I'm not rich. It would take some work on my part to find care for my kids (not to mention what my wife will think). I could do this for the Forum. If for anything, just as payback from what I have learned by reading posts. That's my two cents. Take it for what it's worth. Going or not, I will be very interested to see how the seminar effects the world as a whole. And, to that end how it will change the perception of psychedelics in the world of medicine.
