Re: 2C-I experiences

2C-I – A mixed bag, but a good overall

SWIM's weight: 68 kg

10-20mg (unknown because of bad scale) oral capsule

SWIM set his alarm for 7:20am this morning and popped the capsule. The night prior, SWIM had a couple of beers. It was the first time in a month that SWIM had used any substances recreationally. He didn’t get drunk though. The real festivities were today.

SWIM thought that he could drop the pill at this time and would fall back asleep, only to reawaken very high. It didn’t quite work out that way. Despite the fact that SWIM would have much rather slept ‘til at least 10, SWIM supposes the excitement was too much for him and after 40 minutes of laying in bed, he decides to tackle the day in anticipation of the coming glory.

T + 1:00 SWIM is not hungry and is fasting so the chemical can do it’s thing faster. SWIM throws on The Doors greatest hits and tackles the dishes. The album finishes. SWIM isn’t noticing much except in terms of thoughts. The dishes aren’t done. They seem to take forever. SWIM’s stomach hurts and he has a bit of a headache.

T + 1:45 SWIM puts on Aerosmith toys in the attic. Now SWIM is wondering if the record he bought is warped (it’s his first time listening to it) or if the he’s experiencing auditory perception changes. Doing the dishes sucks. SWIM’s head hurts and stomach doesn’t feel good. Sometimes he feels he may throw up and is having doubts about the way he’s choosing to spend his day off.

T + 2:15 Definite change in thinking. And it’s not great. Not devastatingly depressing, but mostly negative thinking with interjections of “this is the drug speaking, consider it and re-evaluate things after it’s effects disappear”. He vacuums, still experiencing head and stomach pain. He is thinking that he doesn’t have time for drugs. His life is too busy. There’s too much other stuff he should be doing, and he is impaired and the dishes were difficult so how could he possibly accomplish anything more meaningful?

T + 2:45 SWIM tries to connect to the internet because that’s all he can think of to do. He still feels uncomfortable and disappointed with 2C-I. What of the reports of it being like a mix of MDMA and LSD? SWIM thinks he should try drugs with friends first and if he thinks they could have good solo flight value, then perhaps pursue them alone. SWIM is just guessing that company would somehow make this better. SWIM cannot connect to the net. This is frustrating. However, something good happens. While on his computer, he put on the Allman Brothers with the Grateful Dead playing the weight. He watches, smitten, as the forms create, collapse, rejoin and disperse in media player… It’s beautiful. The creators of media player’s visualizations must have known how gorgeous it all looked under the influence of certain substances. SWIM is feeling a little happier. SWIM begins to realize that there’s nothing really pressing. What needs to be done immediately is done. SWIM should just relax and enjoy this experience. What was that no time nonsense? Today was set aside specifically for this event! Time is SWIMs to do what he pleases with it.

T + 3:15 (WARNING: sexual content) SWIM put on an adult video and enjoyed it and bringing himself to orgasm very much. He has his eyes closed when approaching climax and notices something wonderful indeed. CEVs!!!

T + 3:30 SWIM decides it would be very good to listen to music through headphones and try to enjoy some CEVs. He grabs a CD that he has probably only listened to once or twice by Delerium called Poem. He covers his eyes and hits play and this is when everything became absurdly beautiful and amazing. CEVs like SWIM has never before experienced. And how could music possibly sound sooooo good? What is this aural pleasure? The music is taking SWIM on a journey. It isn’t just shapes and patterns SWIM is seeing on his eyelids. The music paints the whole scene and shows SWIM around beautiful rooms and landscapes with beautiful people. One of the most orgasmic sights was that of carnival lights. Bright lights spinning round and round like on a Ferris wheel and other faster rides. But that was all he was visualizing, no rides themselves or people, or sky. Nothing but the fantastic lights on the rides were visible and giving them shape and life. That was just one fantastic scene SWIM recalls. The music seemed to give birth to organic life with some of its sounds. It was as if every song took SWIM through a whole hour and a half movie. It was phenomenal. SWIM was wishing that everyone could experience such ecstasy. He definitely recommends the musical choice for this part of the trip for 2C-I adventures. And he will definitely try it with other substances to.

T + 4:30 So SWIM had lay in bed experiencing auditory and CEV bliss for the last hour. He got up to go to the bathroom. Eyes don’t seem dilated. Red though. Almost as if he just woke up. Looking back, the whole morning does seem quite dreamy. He thinks about returning again to the world of music and eyelids, but fears he will fall asleep and upset his sleeping routine. He needs to get up early tomorrow.

T + 5:00 He’s gotten up and had some breakfast. His mouth was pretty dry. Feeling a little stoned but nothing much.

Conclusion: It was definitely a bit trying for the first couple of hours, physically, mentally and emotionally. But the last bit made up for everything. The whole CEV with Delerium experience was epic for SWIM. And SWIM learned some things. Next time he will make sure there’s nothing to worry about doing before SWIM ingests his substance, so he knows he can just relax and enjoy and observe the experience for what it is. Also, he will overcome his eagerness and wait to try things with friends before trying them alone. SWIM will definitely try 2C-I again, he wants to see it at work in an intimate setting and also at a rave.
