You will not need a party ill to help you stay up and see the ban in - there are just under six hours left before the BZP-based products become illegal at midnight.
Some feared the consequences of a last-minute rush, but the larger concern is about what is now waiting to replace them.
A shop in Wellington wants to get rid of thousands of BZP-based party pills before tonight's midnight deadline. While the bargain price - $1 per pill - has brought fears of people binging, the focus has already moved onto what will replace BZP.
