One of the best drug movies of all time.

Being a Hunter S. Thompson fan, I'll stretch my rating of this up to a highly credible four stars. Depp did a great job of portraying the absolute lunacy of the man. One of his most underrated roles. This is definitely in the cult classic category as I rarely hear reputable film critics even mentioning it. I have to commend the animators who worked on the LSD trip effects in certain scenes. Although exaggerated for effect, they still featured subtleties that only a seasoned tripper would spot.

Definitely awesome. Hunter S. Thompson and Johnny Depp, can't get much better.
