I have been reading the White Book (history of the Beatles 1967 to 1969). This is known as their most psychedelic times. The book really started kinda slow, but its slowly but surely taken off. The perspective of the writer is great. Ken Mansfield helped Paul and all the Beatles run Apple records and he was hand selected my McCartney from a large group of Capitol Records. So far the book has discussed and talked about Paul and Ken's trips from California to England and some of the decisions they made together. It shared some intimate moments of Ken and Paul working together on songs and Showed how much Paul and Linda McCartney were impossible to seperate (deep love must be great). ...

SWIM had an opportunity to watch Cocaine Cowboys last night (all the way through) and loved it. It was crazy to see the old Miami just prior to the "Scarface days".

The movie bases around John Robert's a man from New York who moved to Miami in the late 70's with about 700 $ and after networking and moving into the cocaine trade made tens of millions of dollars. Its great the movie goes into stories involving football players, trips to Columbia, gang wars, and what really excited SWIM was hearing the old stories about what the borders were like before they were congested with ever form of security available. Hearing them speak of Air drops and boat missions...

Hello everyone I am have just received a copy of the White Book, which is a book based on the Beatles and from what i am told and teased on the inside cover of the book has mostly to deal with the days around the legendary White Album which featured (Billy Preston and Eric Clapton). I was wondering if anyone else had an opportunity to read this book and would share some moments maybe their favorite part or a funny part that just made them smile.

Everyone enjoy life

I (finally) had an opportunity to see a classic movie that (somehow) slipped through my grasp for far too many years. Altered States was presented to me by a friend and I was told i had to see it. So what else to do but get it in the player and boy I had no idea for what i was about to get myself into.

I really enjoyed the movie and wanted to see some other peoples idea of the movie. I have to watch the movie again (and maybe a third time) if I really want to make a good opinion of its core thoughts and scenes.

If anyone has anything they love or things that really made them think i would love to hear more from you as I intend on giving the movie another go either...
