I have never tried it. I know so many kids that have prescrips for it and don't take it like its intended for. When you decide to get off the stuff, you go through some pretty intense sh!t. The side effects are horrible. Like you can wet the bed. Sleepwalking, severe mood swings. Stuff like that. I'd stay away from it if I were you. But thats just my opinion.
~~cant heLp ya in regards to smokin but in regards to ritalin withdraw it isnt what you think~~Ive known souLs who would do a whole month script (120 10mg pills) in one weekwith no withdraw other then the usuaL minor depression thingy which only lasts for a couple days and is very minor. Ritalin is absorbed rather quickly in the body as well as deleted from your systemin a timely mannerso there is nothing to withdraw from~~I never heard of anybodysmoking it but I suppose where there is a wiLL there is a way~~~~~
just tried mixing a crushed pill in a cigarette didnt get high off it. but i'm not experienced at smoking drugs so maybe my technique is wrong. any advice?

i smoked it on some nug before and it gave it a sweet taste but depending on the ritalin u are using taste may differ. i used aderal not ritalin. aderal is sweeter then ritalin anyways. but when i smoked it i felt a little diff then without it. try it if u want i dont think it can hurt u to bad if any.

I know 3 people who were "diagnosed" with ADD, and went on ritalin. Each one of them will swear that ritilin completely ruined their life. I have tried it before, and I didn't find it all that interesting. Not worth the risk if you ask me.
a while back, a quack diagnosed me w ADD and depression .. put me on all these meds including adderal and ritalin .. shit fuct me up . i wasnt myself . my judgement was gone . i got asked to leave school and had to go to some hospital to get weened off the shit.. then when i was taken off the shit i was fine .. dont fuck around with this medicine yall

Maybe it has to high of a melting point... Are you just using a normal lighter? You might need one of those high temperature coke lighters.... I'm just guessing.
I've never smoked it but have snoted it... once. I got a lot of energy and sort of a buzz off it but it wasn't worth the sickness and loss of appetite I got with it. I only did 2 pills, maybe I'll try more next time.

Ritalin
is combined with a base just as cocaine is. In order to smoke
ritalin, all you have to do is crush up your pills put them on aluminum
foil and add have the amount of baking soda to the ritalin pile you
have. Then add a few drops of water and smear it around with your
finger. Then take a lighter and lightly go underneath the foil
with it to dry the mixture. Then you place the flame under the
aluminum foil what you will be inhaling is pure methilphenidrate.
This is called freebasing. I am currently freebasing 8 10
millegram pills of ritalin and have had 6 10 milligrams of valium
tonite. I just went through a 1/4 ounce of cocaine since
yesterday. I guess you could say I'm on a binge of sorts.
tonite is the first night I tried smoking the ritalin. The key is
the freebasing of it. You can't just take a pill and burn
it. There is so much extra bullshit in those pills that have
nothing to do with the drug. That is why I am smoking them
tonite, as I snorted 8 pills at once yesterday before I got my 1/4
ounce of cocaine to binge on. It has been a fast couple of
days. I would much rather smoke the ritalin that snort all that
chalk bullshit. Well, I hope this helps for anyone. The
same goes for freebasing coke.

don't smoke pills. you are inhaling god knows what else, and are
probably wasting the 10/20mg of ritalin actually in the pill. snort
them or eat them.

i have a perscription for adderal and one day i was realy fucked up and decided i would smoke a pill i took off plastic and blazed n a bowl.everything seemed realy loud. kinda echoing. and i kinda got nauseas after about 10 mins. also it was a 20 mg pill
Smoking Ritalin? Go for it! I've had a ritty prescription for a good year and a half, and i've exploited every method of use for it under the sun! One of which being smoking it... There's a couple ways, foremost of which being the ol' "lacing the joint", or, if you really want to tap it for all its worth, smoke it in a meth pipe.
i must say, this message board ruckus i have just discovered is quite the contrary what i had imagined. I sometimes ponder the experience here on earth. Where will next one's be? smoking ritalin DOES get you nicely high,
Procedure:
1. Crush up about 20mg's no more than 40, more than 40 = cardiacal rest
2. Make a niice, fine, powdery line.
3. Get a cigarrete and take it over the ritalin while sucking in to lace the first 2-3 drags.
4. hold the cig upright so it doesnt drop out
5. Re-form the line and snort it.
6. Pick your fav smokin spot, light the cig, inhale first HUGE drag and hold for 10+ seconds.
7. repeat step 6 until 3 drags are done
8. Enjoy your high and DONT FRIGGIN DIE :smoking:

ok, swim thinks this is complety fuckin stupid, but ismo, may wanna seperate the wax/pill binders before attempting to smoke it, still think its the most stupid fuckin idea though..

Probably not the place to put this but since it was left here......ADD is way overdiagnosed, a lot of testing should have been done. Doctors are too fast to put young kids on that stuff whether it be ritalin or adderall without sufficent evidence that the child has add or adhd. Both meds are speed and should not be scripted for someone with clinical depression. It tends to make it worse. Swiy is right, the doc is a bad quack. If swiy was asked to leave school, that means it wasn't monitored another pet peeve for swim. When first getting on those meds for add or adhd, it has to be closely monitored by the medical staff and the teachers, parents oftentimes can't tell unless they are in constant contact with the teacher which is very highly recommended, don't take some frustrated teacher's word for it to put a child on these meds. One can tell in a couple of days if it works with those two meds. With something like strattera, blah don't get me going, it isn't easy to tell since it has to be in one's system for a while. Then once again in swim's opinion, it doesn't work effectively. Swim can't devulge info but def. knows this.....ah that is all swim can say. holding her hands to not devulge her profession.
Sorry mods if I got off topic but this really bugs swim to see this type of thing. Swim doesn't want young swimmers hurt by misdiagnosis.

SWIM knows FER SHER =P smoking ritalin works. However there's hydrocloric acid in it and it is none to friendly to the lungs the next day. If SWIY wants to smoke methylphenidate exract it out of the ritalin first and use the cigarette method. Break it up fine or else it'll just clump up at the end. Hope that helps :) of course capping bowls and smoking straight stills works it's just amazing with the nicotine is all

Just a heads up for the 'ritalin junkies'. Ritalin is such a shitty drug. Shitty high, shitty come down, shitty everything. Get some real fucking drugs.

Unlike most pharms, methylphenidate is very much smoke-able. The molecule isn't destroyed by your standard lighter flame, it's vaporized. SWIM knows this from first hand experiences. Don't know what makes methylphenidate special but it works.

I've never known anyone that's prescribed to ritalin that uses it recreationally. They say it doesn't do anything for them which obviously makes sense. SWIM never smokes straight pill it's hell on the lungs. He purifies the methylphenidate before smoking so there's almost no extra material involved. Never known any "ritalin junkies" personally, adderall fiends on the otherhand....

my bad swim was high...still is but here
In each table spoon swiy cooked 4 pills with water until they dissolved. While swims batch was cooling off swim stirred the water with a safety pin collecting the inept ingredients and poured the left over water on a plate. swim threw the plate in the microwave and zapped it for 5 minutes to evaporate the water. While swiy was scraping the plates with a credit card swim grabbed a pop can, poked a couple holes on the side, and used cigarette ashes for the screen.
