This clinic has grown into a dispensary. I was on treatment there for nine years and, as long as you pay in advance and piss whenever they tell you, all is cool.
I was lucky to go when I did. It was small (< 30 patients) and had a great counselor. The Doc is kind of a twerp but he's OK. There are no dosage limits which was great for me because I ended up on a high dose. They made me submit to two "peak an trough" tests. The second one, of course, showed I was way low (I was in withdrawal every day) my "peak" was lower than my "trough" should have been, so instead of upping my dose, they put me on yet another me that was supposed to boost it. Long story...it took six months to get stable.
What did for me was the end. I had multiple family problems and developed horrible insomnia. I asked the doc what to do and was offered diphrenhyramine. I even tried it and all it gave me was dry mouth. Fucking benedryl! He kept saying "if that doesn't wirk, come see me and we'll try something else" . I ended up doing all I could one xanax at bedtime, and I failed a drug screen.
Immediately I was punished. Instead of help, I got ordered to have to drive to the clinic daily (I live out of town). My work hours were 0600-1800 and the clinic was open 0600-1400 How is that supposed to work.
After nine years, never paying late
or causing trouble (other than the sin of using)...I was kicked out on the street with a 270mg/day habit.
Great treatment, huh
