SWIM always combo Tramadol with some benzo because of the chill-out effects and to avoid seizures. Always get different results depending on the benzo SWIM takes. Which benzos would you prefer to take with your trams?

SWIM order is: 1-Diazepam , 2-Alprazolam, 3-Clonazepam, 4-Lorazepam

Out of pure curiousity, are benzo's often prescribed with tramadol?

Swim vote alprazolam, although he never tried clonazepam.
Moderate doses of alprazolam and tramadol (0.5-1.5mg of alprazolam, and 200 mg of tramadol) with not too much weed puts Swim in a very nice place. He likes to call this combination Holy Trinity
Swim thinks that Midazolam, and Flunitrazepam are too strong for sucha a combination.

sound cool, SWIM already did some Lorazepam and Diazepam, but will take 4mg of Alprazolam now, and Midazolam when SWIM want to sleep.

DO NOT MIX DIAZAPAM (Valium) WITH TRAMADOL (Ultram, Ultracet).

While I am not a regular poster here, please take this seriously. While diazapam regurally lowers the risk of seizure, with tramadol it significantly increase seizure threshold and worsens seizures. This was discovered because diazapam is so often used to treat seizures, and seizures induced by tramadol worsened with diazapam.

A quick net search is not substantiating my claims, but I am SURE that I have some proof of this. I will reply to this or edit my post when I find this but I want to put this good-faith warning out there promptly.

SWIM has taken small amount of clonazapam and tramadol with good results. In fact as Swim types this he just took .5 mg of clonazapam and another 50mgs of tramadol.

Intuitively, I would fail to understand the logic/mechanism through which this happens. Diazepam is the prototype benzodiazepine, and has strong seizure raising (threshold) properties. If what you say is the case, than temazepam might be a problem as well, as it is the primary diazepam metabolite. hmmm.

BTW: 50-100mg Phenytoin goes nicely w/ tramadol.

For energy and chattiness - xanax
For euphoria and well being - klonopin
For sedation and relaxtion - valium
