View Full Version : Opinions - best way to do midazolam (dormicum)?
i have some 15mg dormicums and im wondering whether its better to snort them or put under the tongue? dont bother telling me you cant snort benzos because you can snort dormicums. and dont tell me you can snort anything, because you can snort talcum powder if you want, it just means you're an idiot. so is it more efficient to snort or put under the tongue? i havent done any benzos in a while so i have pretty much no tolerance, so how much would get me high? and how many do i have to do before i get withdrawal? thanks a lot people
Well it depends why would SWIY use them. Would it be for recreational purpusess, or as a sleep aid.
If first, you should start with snorting half of 15mg pill(or even less, if you dont have any bzp tolerance what so ever). Because Midazolam has very powerull hipnotyc effects(here where Smim lives, its manly prescribed as a powerfull sleeping pill) , and if you have no tolerance therapautic dose could put you out in a mater of minutes.
Always start off low. Due to the fact that you have multiple pills, there is no reason not to start off with maybe half of one. It has been said a million times but everyone is different. So what might be good for swim might be bad for swiy.
sorry for being a noob and incriminating myself before. swim has tried both snorting and under the tongue since the first post, and he still cant tell which is better. but swim keeps thinking hes wasting some everytime he snorts, whereas what isnt absorbed under the tongue can always be absorbed in the stomach? but thanks for the advice anyway.
What doses did SWIY use, and what effects SWIY felt?

Dormicum(midazolam) is the strongest hypnotic out there in terms of effects. Be prepared to experience extreme amnesia(a completely wiped out memory), and weak limbs. In depends on how much tolerance SWIY has what he/she will experience, but even for someone with some tolerance, 15mg Dormicum is still a good dose. I always take them sublingually(for insomnia, as prescription sleep aid), which makes it kick in within half a minute. Because of all the binders in it, SWIM would advice to take them sublingually(absorbing them through the vein under SWIY's tongue) to get the fastest and strongest effects. Good luck, and have fun.

SWIM went into a semi concious zombie like state. the next day SWIM couldnt remember anything he did or said to his friend after snorting the second half of the pill, with 1 or 2 vague flashbacks of the bus journey home. it was fun. the amnesia was a bit weird but swim remembers he was very laid back and comfortable during the whole trip. but the same dose no longers has the same effects on swim, his tolerance went up very quickly, is it like this with all benzos? or just midazolam? and swim agrees with psychonaut sublingual is better. although it does taste revolting

Midazolam users build tolerance significantly faster than a host of other benzos. Dorms would be one of the strongest benzos swim has taken sublingually and via IV(advice against it). Tho much more potent than other hypnotics, swim still finds nitrazepams the most enjoyable esp since they go well with opiates, in my case. swim's dorms are usually for standby when coming down on uppers or opiates. as for recreational value on its own, swim isnt much of a fan. careful tho, coz midazolams are known to do more harm to the brain as compared to other benzos. And a common hazard is the tendency for users to steal things while on dorm. swim's friend got busted for vehicle theft and woke up in the station with chunks of memory loss. He's well-to-do ironically. where swim is from, alot of abusers dilute 15mg dorms with 8mg subutex for IV. on its own, iv just gave swim a slight rush, nothing near euporic, when taken orally, swim knocks out in 10mintops, despite taking at least 20 5mg nitrazepams daily or alt days. some ppl enjoy dorms tho, but not really swim's idea of recreation, took together with opiates and totally wasted the opiates coz swim just felt sleepy the whole time.

So smoking it, do you just crush up the pills and put the powder in a sigarette / bong or what? Mixed with tobacco / pot?
I know midazolam is very soluble in water, specially with lower hH such as adding some citric acid. So if crushing up some pills, add in low pH water, stirr and mix it for a while, then filter it and evaporate the remaining solution, would this not leave off a more pure form of midazolam with most crap filtered out, if a high grade filter is used of course?
Then, smoking some of this should probably be nice. Other uses can apply to.
At least so SWIM told.

As a side note SWIM ate 30mg of Dormicum and do not really feel much effects. SLightly sedated, but one 2mg pill of Alprazolam or 2 pills of Rohypnol (flunitrazepam) would have done better.. Hm SWIM thought these midazolams were supposed to be the real knockouters?

SWIdarkbreed - When swim smokes midazloam, he will crush it into a fine powder, like the side of a cig and roll it in the powder. Swim finds this to have a "vaporizing like" effect.
Swim defiantly agrees, midazloam isn't nearly as strong as he expected. I mean its offered to death row inmates, before they are put to death (you would think they could give them something a bit stronger...)

What does your swim feel regarding the effects when smoked? How is it compared to swallowing the pill? This SWIM have 15mg pills, would your swim crush up one or several, or less for the smoking experience?
And yes I do find it a strange thing to offer death row inmates, but I assume that is because when taken IV it makes you lose consciousness and cause deep amnesia rather quickly compared to most other things.
But at a recreational level, swim don't see a very good recreational use of midazolam so far, swim had 45mg in total in around 4 hours, along with 1mg alprazolam, 1mg flunitrazepam and 10mg diazepam. Even that didn't really get swim where he wanted to go, it just got him somewhat sedated but still fully conscious and aware and having no trouble walking around or doing his daily routine. Perhaps other routes of administration would be better for swim with this one.
How about letting it dissolve in mouth under tounge compared to swallowing it

Well SWIM just did an experiment on his own, a couple actually, and think he found the perfect way of smoking midazolam in a cigarette. SWIM told me it goes as follows:
He takes a marlboro cigarette, or any other cigarette of choice, and rips it open and takes out the tobacco. Then he takes a rolling paper and licks it to get it wet and spreads powdered midazolam over it (on the inside). Then he puts some tobacco inside from the ripped apart cigarette. Then he spreads a little more midazolam on the tobacco, sprinkles it around some. Then he takes another rolling paper, licks it so it gets wet and sprinkles more midazolam powder all over it. He rolls this into a very thin roll of paper, licks the outside, sprinkle on more midazolam, then puts this thin midazolam soaked paper roll inside the other rolling paper along with the tobacco, puts a little more tobacco on top, sprinkles alittle more midazolam on top of that, before rolling the cigarette together. Then he licks the outside of his rolled cigarette as well and makes sure to get the last remains of the midazolam powder stuck on the outside of it. This was done with 15mg midazolam pills.
The effects were according to SWIM greatly improved and very much more pleasent than just lacing the outside of a normal cigarette with midazolam powder.
So SWIM reported to me at least.
SWIM has seen quite a few comments about strong hypnotic effects. SWIM has easy access and was wondering if the sleep is the unrousable/coma kind as it is with GHB. SWIM was interested in GHB but the unrousable/coma part worried him. (His surroundings are not 100% safe)

Well as far SWIM knows, midazolam is used in hospitals to make people unconscious before various procedures, so SWIM suppose that means a coma type of state. But SWIM also suppose that is in higher doses, SWIM have not experienced anything like that, even on high doses around 45mg mixed with other benzos as well SWIM was fine and far from specially hammered, but SWIM do have an extraordinary high tolerance for most substances and have heard of others getting knocked out at 7.5 mg.
With that said, SWIM did use it a couple times as supposed, as a sleep aid, and at one occasion took 15mg and laid down in bed, fall asleep and even though he had his alarm clock on right next to his head to wake him up 1.5 hours later he did not wake up from this even though the alarm clock repeats itself some times with some minutes intervals. So, SWIM suppose once you do get to sleep on the midazolam, you do sleep well.
Interesting, SWIY seems to have one helluva tolerance and even then wasn't woken up by an alarm. SWIM wonders how someone who has no tolerance, passed out, would react to someone else going through their pockets, or stealing a kidney... (too dramatic?)
In any event SWIM'll probably give 'em a go. Nothing ventured and all that. And they'll be free.

Yeah just make sure SWIY start with a low dosage first time to check tolerance and effects. Maybe half of a 7.5mg pill first, sitting in your bed just to make sure no falling or violent stumbling around will occur. Then steadily increase dosage until enough effects are attained and the knowledge about its effect and tolerance has been figured out.
Note that midazolam is particularly known for causing amnesia and it is recommended letting the patient sleep on them for around 7-8 hours undisturbed according to the documentation that came with SWIMS 15mg midazolams.
SWIM personallly have had no amnesia or other negative effects from them so far, he finds them workin good for sleep, but not particularly interesting for recreational use except for when smoked which is quite enjoyable. He has not tried to snort it yet as some people have reported as being a good way for recreational use of midazolam.

Remembering what happened could only be a good thing. Although again SWIY does have a tolerance.

In the united states, midzolam is used almost exclusively for sedation purposes when some type of medical procedure is being performed. I don't even know if we have a pill-form of midzolam. Although, there is a syrup for children LOL that contains something 2mg/mL or something like that.
I guess you could say it is sort of the king/queen of benzos available in the U.S. but outside of regular channels, it is available to only medical professionsl typically. Midazolam is not available in tablet or pill form to SWIM's knowledge in the U.S. SWIM is not real familiar with how anesthetic drugs work in conjuction with one another, but it is used extensively in medical procedures via injection, and when it is used, COMPLETE amnesia is it's purpose. Probably the most potent benzo that is commonly known about in the U.S. (under tradename, versed). Like SWIM says, amnesia is it's purpose for unpleasant medical procedures.

SWIM has not experience with midazolam but in countries where it is available in pill or tablet for, providing the taste is tolerable, the above mentioned sublingual technique would seem to be the best way to take midzolam. Injecting pills is not healthy unless one is very careful and knows what they are doing. However, sublingual administration is the next best thing in many cases, in fact probably better in SWIMs opinion because it's less damaging to the body (probably not harmful at all when administered sublingually)

SWIM has done some more experimentation, and his conclusion is that rectal administration of midazolam seem to be the best one for him. Along with some clonazepam.
Smoking midazolam gives a brief effect not lasting long and not very powerful (not for SWIM anyway)
Eating them doesnt give a good effect either, though they are good for sleep.
The rectal route however turned out to be quite effective giving a nice and good buzz. Added with 15mg midazolam was added 4mg of clonazepam.
It came on quickly lasted some time and was very pleasent and a somwhat new benzo experience. He intends trying this again. When doing this jus crush up the pills to powder, mix with water and alcohol (35% is what SWIM uses) and suck up in a syringe (SWIM uses 5ml syringe, without needle of course). What you get is a white liquid with some remains of the crushed pills. Suck it all up in the syringe, plug it in as deep you get it , and squirt it in.
If some leftovers are found in the syringe after, just add little more water, and re-plug to get it all.
This effect seem more powerful than eating it, putting under tounge, snorting it. I think I read it increased the effects with around 200 % or so because of rapid and good absorption down there.
As a sidenote, a clonazepam along with a midazolam put under tounge before bed gives a pleasent experience of comfort, tranquility and special serenity before falling asleep, in SWIMS experience. Seem like a nice combo.
