View Full Version : Combinations - opiates+benzos+alchol, good idea?
Ok, SWIM has another question about chlordiazepoxide. SWIM took 15mg last night and felt nothing. SWIM usually takes between 450mg and 600mg of morphine on a good night, after drinking about 2litres of cider. No lectures please, SWIM knows the dangers but this is the way she has always done it. SWIM only has about 300mg of morhine left (Less than her usual dose) and is thinking about combining it with about 30mg of chlordiazepoxide, but is worried about combining opiates+benzos+alcohol as she keeps hearing people die this way. SWIM doesn't want to die just yet. Given SWIMs normal routine do SWIYs think this is a good/bad idea??

swim does not think it is a good idea. at least get the dosage down with the chlordiazepoxide first. try 30mg on it's own and see how that is. swiy should definately know how swiy is going to feel on the benzos alone. it is a very good idea to find what dose of chlordiazepoxide alone swiy feels and enjoys.
Cheers JaWill88, thanks for the advice. Just to update, SWIM has taken 30mg chlordiazepoxide, plus 120mg morphine so far and just a couple of glasses of cider. Took chlordiazepoxide over an hour ago, just taken the morphine. Feel ok, bit mellow, nothing more of yet.
Can I please stress (AGAIN) how dangerous mixing downers and alcohol is?
Think over sedation, ranging to coma plus repiratory depression, and an inability to protect the airway, meaning that choking on one's own vomit is an all too real possibility
The quantities of substances mentioned in this thread could quite easily be fatal.
So further discussion is not going to happen
