Hey! Swim has spent many yrs taking drugs of all kinds, and would have a great wild sex life, even when addicted to H. Now soba, swim makes love.. but really misses those drug fuelled romping sessions, which swim feels she now needs to make things wilder in the bedroom, is this just a psychological issue after quitting hard drugs ? BTW swim has been with her partner for 8yrs but havent a doubt that, thats the prob..

Advice and Opinions Etc, appreciated guys

Interesting. SWIM, for the most part, is a lazy lover but as you mention, does enjoy a wild romp every now and then. Tee-hee!

I dunno, I guess you gotta mix it up every now and then. Spontaneous sex can be awesome, especially if you're with someone for a while because it comes out of the blue ("that's what she said"). Give him (I presume it's a him) the jump, so to speak. Living room floor, one o'clock in the afternoon, fingernails in the back, you get the idea. Ditch the bedroom essentially. And lingerie, lots of sexy lingerie. Maybe it's a personal niche, but SWIM finds those embroidered thong bodysuit bustiers to be a serious turn-on. Ha, he's said enough.

I think it is all psychological. As SWINB mentioned spotaneous sex is great. There are many many things to spice up SWIY's sex life without using drugs.

When drugs are used to enhance sex, one may feel a psychological need for drugs when sex is on the menu, or just loose interest alltogether. If one must, then keep it to a minimum.

GHB has always been a great enhancer for SWIM and also for females (so i'm told). It also increases perfomance dramatically. Someting SWIM had a problem with in his younger teenage years (but something he grew out of).

When it comes to sex - men are more visual & women more cerebral - try reading erotica to get your mind in the mood. Do some solitary foreplay - a warm bath and a hot fantasy . . . work it . . . . anticipation makes it so much better.

Swim used to always smoke a joint before sex - -- - now that swim is sober (mostly!) sometimes swim gets her man to give her a spanking -- she even bought this cool paddles that hurts real good -- that makes her hot! And having hot sex with the same man for 26 years is a blessing.

swim finds when highly wasted he carnt perform to well on coke ....but swim and the missus on form without it can on unexpected moments really have a good sha*
sex can be just as good straight u just get used to doing it that way which is sad.....u should cherrish these moments being normal.

My hat's off to you. NIK and his wife have been together for 20 years, and celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary in March.

Sober sex is the best sex once you have shed your inhibitions, set any shame aside, and really focus on what gets your partner off.

Stay out of the bedroom ~ it can end up in the bedroom, but play with it in other places ~ slightly dangerous places can be fun ~ a BJ in an elevator ~ a nude walk around the block ~ no kidding - we've done it and none of our neighbors even noticed - although some guy that drove by sure got an eyeful!

I totally agree, the element of suprise is definitely a winner. Im also a huge fan of teasing and suspense.
Maybe try eating food with lots of ginger in it? if you like it, or ginger ale or ginger wine works well too, and chillies. I dont know what it is but ginger does something to men... Gets things warmed up a little

Swim thinks that sex while being high gets so wild because lets face it, inhibitions are lowered. the mind is on autopilot , simply enjoying the physical pleasures. Without being high, the mind plays a much greater part in sex. If someone is uptight about some things, or is shy, a whole list of things......sex is going to be a lot different while straight. Communication and patience play heavily into sober sex in swim's opinion. Swiy can even make sex better not using drugs, knowing what is going on is not just a drug making one feel so good. Get the mind into that erotic zone, the body follows.

Just as addicts get just as addicted to the rituals involved with drug use ( snorting, smoking, injecting yada yada..) sexual pleasure gets tied to being high as part of the experience. It takes a bit to rewire the pleasure center in the brain to no longer need that substance as a part of sex...so just keep working at it... Sex will be amazingly better once you get past that obstacle.

Yes! My Aunt totally agrees. She told me that for years she would only get into sex when she was high and she often regretted her actions . . . or her choice of partners later. Physically & psychologically she would feel like shit the next day.

Now, she says she really enjoys Hot Happy Sober Sex. She likes to conscienciously work on noisy nasty unabashed sex with a partner she trusts & loves. Lotions, XXX mags & movies, or a little inspirational reading to each other, vibrators, or even a riding crop can be incorporated to keep it interesting.[/color]
