swim was just perscribed .5mg clonazepam tablets for anxiety attacks
anyways swim not gotten a straight answer to this question. some clonazepam are wafers and are meant to be dissolved under the tounge. some are tablets that swim thinks are meant to be taken orally. swim has these. swim has heard of a lot of people say they are meant to go both ways. what swim is asking is if he can take his generic clonazepam tablets (yellow, scored) sublingually? can all tablets go both ways? swim put one under his tounge and it tasted pretty good so is thinkging maybe it is meant to go both ways. if anyone could confirm on this it would be greatly appreceated. thank you.

I can't confirm this or not, but it seems like you should post if swiy felt effects (im sure they did if the dose was right), and if the effects seemed to correlate the dose (if one has a reference for this type of thing).

Swim would take xanax that were meant for oral ingestion sublingually many times w/ success.

Ahh..well in that case then lemme edit this :

Swim would take xanax that were meant for oral ingestion sublingually many times w/ success. (with no noticable loss of potency and maybe even increased potency).

SWIM notices an increase in effects(as well as quicker onset) from sublingually taking it, or chewing them up. He takes them as prescribed though. 1mg pills.

It tastes minty yet, sometimes if SWIM chews too many it tastes a bit chemically as well. Shouldn't be too bad of a taste though.

yes swims yellow .5 tastes kind of minty. more like a cool, crisp, menthol. may sound like it was meant for sublingual, but they are meant for oral. but possibly both. either way the verdict sounds like all clonazepam could be taken sublingually. is there anything that would make a clonazepam pill not be able to take it sublingually like certain binders or fillers? swim is just trying to get the most out of his pills. anyone have any more input? btw thanks for the replies above.

Swim can tell if a pill can be taken sublingually by the texture and how hard together the material is packed together. If there's a hard outer shell on the outside of the pill, then swiy probably shouldn't waste swiy's time trying to take it sublingually. Another way to tell if a pill can be taken sublingually (may waste a pill though) is to place a small amount of water on it and see if it starts to shrink and melt. If it does, then you can take it sublingually.
