View Full Version : Combinations - adderell + diazapam = good idea?

Has anybody ever taken diazapam with adderell? And what were the effects?

SWIM wants to remain anxiety free in social situations but needs to improve his powers of concentration, focus and logical thought, all of which that can be achieved from taking an adderell or a very low dosage of amphetamine but SWIM knows that taking an upper and a downer at the same time is quite possibly a bad idea and he had wondered if the side effects would outweigh the benefits.

Has anybody done this? SWIM is looking for actual experience rather than theory because he is well adversed in the theory but practical experience is often altogether a different matter matter and it is very hard to predict drug interactions on the body without real life cases.

With a low enough dose SWIM doesn't think it would be too bad, but he does not recommend it as he doesn't really know your health, and it is very dangerous. Although SWIM has done up to 45mg with no tolerance along with high doses of benzo's along with medium doses of opiates. The feeling is very nice according to SWIM, maybe too good, risk for addiction. SWIM calls it a pharmacutical speedball.

Can I please encourage everyone to chose a thread prefix when posting a new thread? There's a drop down menu with all sorts of stuff to choose from.

It's particularly helpful when searching large forums/sub-forums, and helps users to find appropriate threads when searching

I just had some panic attacks when I took Adderal in the morning which I have been perscribed to for quite some time. Im not sure all the root causes, but Adderal was certainly the catalyst, and I went to the E.R. and they gave me Lorazapam (Ativan) and apparently there are no drug interactions between the two. It does seem like a stimulant and relaxant together would be unhealthy, but seemingly with those two drugs, as long as it is low to moderate doses, it is not dangerous at all. The only warning in terms or other drug combos they gave were alcohol, and other types of benzos, painkillers, depressents in general.

However im still planningg to stop taking adderal, at least for a while, but the doctor had no serious concerns with that combo, all it did was did was exactly what it was supposed to do, chill me out while I rode out the rest of the adderal effects so I wouldnt have more axiety attacks. But this combo recreationally might not be a great idea.

Swim has never taken diazepam with adderall before, but swim has taken it with both lorazepam and klonopin. Swim really doesn't get any negative effects from taking them together, but swim notices that the effects of the adderall seem to not be as strong as taking adderall alone.

swim carries a couple-o 10mg benzos (valium) with swimself when likely to be doing alot of amphetamine (adderall) as it relaxes swims muscles, no backaches, less jaw clenching. Never use them to sleep tho (kinda wasteful in swims opinion)

SWIM has only ever combined the two on the comedown. Helped relieve any unwanted residual stimulant effects and to relax and no bad reactions were noted.

When I was a bit younger, I was prescribed Adderall, it didn't agree with me at all. As a matter of fact, I had this nasty taste in my mouth, and a nasty smell as well. It stayed for about two days and then went away. I was prescribed Adderall, because the psychiatrist I saw thought I had ADD or ADHD. Anyhow, I couldn't take it, so I'd say it's not that great of a drug to take, as the effects didn't make me feel well, but I can say when I first started taking it, I could notice a difference in concentration. Everyone is different, so perhaps SWIM could try it themselves, but it seems as other people aren't agreeing with Adderall neither.

Hope this helps,

Regards.

Yeah, exactly! You experienced that nasty taste\smell? It was so horrible, it was like a mothball like smell, but also in my mouth too. It was gross.

Regards.
