Dose - Crushing valium. Faster effects?

Ive been on xanax for 6 years. I recently went on a binge, and took 120 0.5MG xanax in 3 weeks. The doc gave me a script for 10MG valium to hold me over until my next xanax refill (in 2 weeks) its been a weeks snce ive had the valium and they dont seem to do shit. I was taking between 6-12 xanax a day depending on how stressed and/or bored i was. so im geussing my xanax tolerance killed my valium effects. i just took three 10MG valiums, crushed them up to powder, and swallowed them (kind of like you do with BC powder, aspirin) hoping the effects will work much better.

I have 2 weeks until i get my xanax, and these valiums aint doin shit. i read 40MG of valium is equal to 2mg of xanax. i was taking about 8mg of xanax a day. or more.

Just for fun? Sounds like an addiction. Don't incriminate yourself either. Use SWIM instead. Anyways, SWIY should probably try to get off the alprazolam, and use the valium to help him taper off. Clonazepam works great for anxiety(but has very different "recreational" effects than xanax).

I been on valium while and they build a resistance up really quick. I been given temasepam now 10mg and they are quick working. Daily dose maximum for xanax is supposed to be 3mg, valium you can have up to 30mg a day.(looked it up in my drug book) No wonder your stressed. It says coming off Xanax is supposed to be long process reducing the amount over time. Id get back to the doctor and give him a kick up the ass. Or see another one and get different meds. My book says you should be treated on xanax short term cos of its addictiveness so you going through withdrawal from that so prob why 10mg of valium aint doing shit. SWIM has been on the xanax for 6 years, nothing else seems to help. SWIM has never had withdrawls or addictive like behaviour until recently. The valium just doesnt work. And SWIM cant seem to find any place online to order any xanax without consultations and medical records.

Hasnt your doctor tried to help you with sorting out whats causing you all this stress and whats making you feel so fed up for so long? Someone close to me found the pills sorted thier stress out whilst they were on them but it aint the cure to the problem thats causing it.

no it doesnt cure my problem. but it helps me cope with it. the valium just doesnt work. swim has 2 weeks before his refill. im going thru a divorce, my best friend moved to vermont. im under alot more stress than usual which is why i think swim has been taking more xanax than needed
