Oramorph Syrup 10mg/5ml

SWIM has tried using Oramorph Syrup 10mg/5ml for tattoo pain relief (A very sore spot on the ribs) SWIM is not getting any pain relief from using the Oramorph.

Any suggestions regarding dose, time ect?

Over a three hour period SWIM has taken six 5ml spoonfuls, with little effect other than a swimming head and nausia. (SWIM does not have an above normal Morphine tollerance)

Any help on this would be appreciated by SWIM.

Dunno what to tell you on that one my friend. Swim used crushed 30 Mg MS contin (1) when he got his toungue pierced, and it didn't hurt. The next day, it hurt like a bitch. However, after crushing and taking another 30 mg contin, the pain was gone. Swim repeated this later that same evening, and, by the next day the pain was easily bearable. Swim has tattoos as well, but never got them in such a sensitive place. Must have hurt like a bitch. Is swiy sure that the syrup is not expired? because 60 Mg's of morph should at least make it fairly bearable. As A matter of fact, Swim wold think it would downright kill the pain altogether, however, If you got a large portion of your rib area done, that could play a role as well. Maybe try taking some paracetamol, to help potentiate the morphs pain killing properties. We don't have that syrup in the states, so swim am unsure what the other ingredients in it are. but maybe just a little APAP might help. swim have also heard that caffeine helps to get the ingredients into the blood faster. That's why they put it in fioricet, which is a migraine med in the states. they say that it aids in pushing the meds through the system faster. Maybe also try some novocaine, or lido, or benzocaine on the area. although swim would first ask the artist if that was a good idea. It should kill the pain, but wouldn't want to see you fuck up your new ink. either way, the worst of it should be over in about three days either way. Plus, there's always booze. That'll definitely do the trick. At least temporarily. Good luck. let me know how it goes.

I don't know why SWIMS not getting any pain relief? Yeah 60mgs should do the trick but apparently SWIM says it doesn't touch it????? Oramorph is in date. Bizzare?????

Anyone else have any thoughts on this please?

ribs are one of the most painful places to get a tattoo. swim couldnt get painkillers to even touch the pain. swim ate two perc30s and blew two over an hour and it still felt like someone was stabbing my ribs with a knife.

Yep SWIM has given up with the Ora Morph it just makes her/him vomit and feel like shyte! 15mgs of Diazepam and a couple of Brufen are a better option.

on a similar vein, would morphine sulphate (mst) 10mg tablets be any good for tattoo sessions?
swim has been told they are good for time release pain control which would seem good for those longer sessions under the needle.
any swims tried it?
