Question Fatigue

Swim has been in a lot of pain. Swim has been sore all the time and has muscle aches, is wondering if swim might have fatigue syndrom. It seems that, after taking hydrocodone that was prescribed, the pain diminished and swim was free for awhile. Without the pain there is less mindlessness. It seems that swim has been having stress. Swim keeps looking for something to kill the pain. Is it depression? Is it simply apathy? swim cannot concentrate or read a sentence for too long. This has been getting in the way of a lot of things. Just in general, is there anything swim can do about this? Swim drinks coffee but then always has a crash afterwards. It seems there isn't much swim knows to do about it. Sorry if this isn't in the right category.

Re: Fatigue

there are many illnesses that cause fatigue and pain.

when your in pain though you can become depressed and tired.
and an opioid that takes the pain away will make you happier.

you should talk to your doctor about this, say you have fatigue all the time, you might be diegnoised with chronic fatigue and then they can do tests to see if anything more serios is going on.

Swim tried discussing it with the doctor...they somehow think this has anything to do with a mental illness. Like swim had imagined the fatigue up. Pretty lame...the doctor suggested aspirin. Still feeling this fatigued and it is getting in the way of a lot...it's not only just tiredness, swim gets these chest pains. There is a stinging pain that feels like a needle in swim's stomach and its ripping swim apart from within. There are some things that have helped swim, xanax seems to help, exedrine seems to help, but the hydrocodone actually made it possible for swim to focus without this pain. Swim has taken thyroid tests and tests for blood sugar. The pain is so distracting that swim feels like there has got to be something going on...

Re: Fatigue

hmm thats very interesting, sounds similar to what swim has.
pain, fatigue, chest pain ect.
swim has had hers for 6 years and swim got told also that it may all be in her mind.

swim still hasnt had it diagnosed yet.
but genrally it could be any number of things.

i would get another doctor if your current one isnt helping and just suggesting asperin.

the amount of pain your in plus the fatigue would suggest somthing is wrong and it could be serious, it could also be somthing commen like arthritus or somthing.

then again it could be lupus.
all these illnesses have pain and fatuige as a sympton.

so i would defenatly suggest talking to another doctor just to get a second opinion.

Wow, six years is pretty long to not have been diagnosed for your symptoms. Swim has had this for about two years.
It might be arthritis...something similar to that. swim has CMT which is a wearing of the muscle tissue and the nerves.
But that isn't really treatable other than through pain management.
Swim's going to take swiy advice and see another doctor about this.
Possibly there is something that can be done about it. That's odd that swiy have the same symptoms. Although chest pains are common.

Re: Fatigue

I don´t belive in psycho-somatic illnesses, they´re and I´m sure will all be revealed as an organic insuffiency.

Fatigue is a result of lacking adrenaline and noradrenaline, and partially serotonine and can be treated with amfetamine, which will restore you close to normal, but not completely (be aware it may worsen it, if taken abusively), swim cured an outgrown fatigue from pro powert athletic with onöy 12000 iu of Epo in 10-12 days, administred iv in 500-1500IU portions daily sc works also a xcheap alternative could be stanozolol in moderate doses over a short period of time like 2-4 weeks 25-50mg every day or every second day, this unique steroid has the property of giving immense strenght and makes you look proper and refreshed alll the timea nd restoresd 5-HT (like all steroids) dopamine and partially adrenaline and ATP-storage in cells.
If swiy is female, then err on the EPO as it´s very safe and even the most effective though.
