What is Nag Champa?
For years, nag champa has been the only incense i buy. easily has the most pleasant aroma of any other, i never get sick of it. sitting around thinking to myself, a random thought appeared in my head: What is nag champa exactly/where does it come from? any info would be appreciated. thanks

Re: What is Nag Champa?
Not sure how verifiable this info is, as it was mainly product websites i found, but from what i read it sounds like there's a variety of incense called champa because it comes from the champa flower. Apparently incenses classified as champa get their color from a type of resin from a tree local to the area of production, which accounts for the color of the incense. there is also a high concentration of sandalwood, which helps contribute to the scent.
It might still be good to do some research of your own, as i'm just regurgitating info i read online, but i hope that helps nonetheless. |
