Food - Post recipes of your favorite food

So, as most of you know, there are three main gifts from the gods.

1) sleep
2) substance
3) food

There is not much to say about the first except that it is awesome, the second has been extensively covered here, and I have found very little on the third here at this website.

First of all, since this is a drug-related sight, we may focus on munchie type foods and foods that swiy makes when they are on their favorite substance, but often times this food is a "dinner in a box" type thing so if you like the food and have a good recipe, you may as well added.

So, here is my recipe for artichoke dip (it's really good).

Ingredients:

1 can (14 oz wet) artichoke hearts
2 tablespoons light mayonnaise (you can't taste difference between light and reg)
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated cheddar chees
1 small can mild green diced chilies
1 to 2 jalapeno peppers (depends on spicy preference)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F. Drain the artichoke hearts and cut into approx half inch chunks (note 1/2inch=1.27cm). Drain green chilies and cut up jalapenos very find. Mix half of the grated cheddar cheese and the rest of the ingredients together and pour into a buttered dish (A 9" glass pie dish works perfect for this amt of dip). Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and and bake at 375F for 15 minutes. Serve hot or warm with tortilla chips.

ENJOY!!! (this is good with margaritas)
