How many people here have been to pontiac (MI)? Well me and my friends were just chilling in a parking lot (a school parking lot with lights and cameras). and five black guys drive up they pull out a shotie and tell us to empty our pockets. Shit Im never fucking coming back to these crappy citys once i get out

well thats no excuse racism aside!! there's always gonna be a bad bunch of apples to people regardless of color,culture etc. what happened if they were white and robbed you? Makes no difference. although swia agree's with Orchid, 5 people and they used a pistol?. very pathetic.

Swim doesn't want to seem racist but where he lives the racism doesn't always come from whites.It may surprise people in Europe but white people aren't the only people capable of racism.Where swim lives white are often violently attacked simply for being white.Swim remembers highschool when his friend was singled out just for being white and sitting on their section of the bus.He was put in the hospital.Ofcourse liberals will cry this is justified but swim doesn't think it is justified no matter whom does it.No swim is not a conservative,but he doesn't consider himself a liberal either,he likes to consider himself as having his own set of rules and beliefs.And swim doesn't think the person that made this post was trying to be racist,he was just trying to describe what happened in detail.

Actually it was a shotgun. And its because I've never had any problems with white people of this nature. I'm not saying I hate all black people. But you think im not going to react diffrentlyto seeing white people and black people at night around here you're wrong. Yes it was only one incident. But having a shot gun pointed pont blank at one of your closest friends. Well that shit will do that to you...

Please understand all this person is not being racist,it may sound like it to some that haven't lived in the inner city in the States but sometimes this is a matter of survival for us.Swim isn't a bad person really:(

Of course he's not being racist, don't be silly. All he's doing is some racial stereotyping, an inborn defense mechanism, it is natural for humans to react this way, for survival an all. Like he said, he doesn't now hate all black people.
Never been mugged, only robbed. I'm sure it was a pretty scarry experience.

Swim would definitely call it inborn defense,not neccessarily stereotyping,well maybe it is to an extent but it's not a hateful thing either.This is so very difficult to explain even when swim tries his best.Oh and enquire something that happened two hundred years ago is always an excuse heh?It's okay to rob,murder,or rape someone because of something that happened in the past?Would it be okay if it happened to swiy or swiy's family or friends?But violence is okay as long as it is directed against whites right?No this isn't a flame,swim is sick of hearing views that on a whole seem so compassionate and "liberal"but they will gladly stand for murder or even genocide as long as it has a fashionable,leftist cry behind it.Robbing another person or committing an act of violence against them is wrong..period.

Eh, sorry, what exactly is your point in relation to my post?
Let me just say that I am not racist and I'm not trying to defend racism in any way. It's sicking and completely retarded. Also I really try to avoid stereotyping people (all people, not race related), it's something that actually needs to be worked on though, not making snap judgments based on appearances.

Stereotyping is not a hateful thing, it's just a safer and easier alternative than approaching and getting to know everyone for who they really are. For instance, if I were out and about, I would not approach a group of chavs and try to befriend them, my automatic stereotyping would have kicked into gear and I would be well aware that I would not get along with this group of people and that a fight would be a very likely outcome if I were to approach with my happy bearded hippy grin and beautiful flowing locks. If however, I was to see a group of people sitting round a camp fire playing guitars and singing, I would happily approach them and be 99% sure I'd be welcomed, rather than attacked.
Edit: Odd thought, I have absolutly no idea how the hell I'd react if I were to stumble across a group of chavs sitting round a fire singing and playing acoustics. A sight like that would just blow me away.
