not too sure, it might have to be converted to a base to be smokable efficiently although opium is definitely smokable and the high one gets off of that is primarily from the morphine contained within. Although it isn't morphine in. sulphate form.

From what I understand (which is very little) diacetilization and going from there would be SWIY's best bet (but that wouldn't exactly be morphine anymore AFAIK). This sounds like a good one to search the chemistry forums for. I can't imagine it hasn't been discussed.
