What if any drug is there that would relieve someone from having really bad nervousness, like butterflies in there stomach before performance or something? thanks

Depends on the performance. If it has to be coherent, like a speech or something, I'd say no drugs. I've heard good things about practicing mantra for this. If it's for performing music or something I always find that some good old alcohol loosens me up before a show.

There was a thread about this along time ago I think (it mightve been on a different forum)

the verdict was just deal with it internally although a vocal minorty said weed and or alcohol.

In my opinion drugs can't give you skill you dont have, but they can hide skill you do have. Although perhaps Adderall? Idk SWIS always feels semi-confident while on it.

I'm thinking benzodiazapines.

They're normally prescribed for anti-anxiety.

I've heard good things about the anxiolytic properties of Kava-Kava, but this might not be available to you. It's available in some pharmacies or supermarkets in pill form, but for recreational purposes it's rather necessary to have cupfulls of the ground Kava-Kava root, which is available over the internet. Large amounts of the ground root might also be necessary for an effective anxiolytic dose, but if SWIM does not have such access, he might find himself needing to swallow an entire bottle full of pills for the desired effects.

It depends on what you need to do while on the drug. If it's nothing too precise or physically difficult a light dose of a benzo might do it. Just having some sort of short acting benzo with you so you know you can take it if neccesary can be enough to calm you down sometimes. SWIM would recommend alprazolam or lorazepam as they're both fast acting. Just be careful with the dosage and practice whatever it is you're trying to do alone before you attempt to do it in public while "under the influence".

Orchestral performers sometimes use beta blockers before shows.
