I just got back from my test.
Job interview type, unsupervised. I opted for the substitution
method. I tried to order the Urinator on-line, but they will not
ship to Texas. So I bought a product called Number 1, made by
Puck Technologies, the same people who make the Whizzinator. It
comes with enough for two tests.
I was worried b/c it came with heat pads that were obviously Japanese,
and did not look the ones on the website. When I tried one out
last night, it didn't seem to get very warm. But anything you can
feel is above body temp. I used a small space heater to jump
start the pad this morning, and it worked well. The device is an
elastic belt, with a medical bag of synth urine, and a tube with two
clips. When I turned in the sample, it was 98 degrees on the
nose. http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
Pros: http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
-Urine is premixed
-Clips are totally silent
-Ample amount of urine
-Excellent thermometer strip
Cons: http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif
-Belt is small: I'm a 38 waist, and it was very tight.
-Velco is used, and if it comes apart, the sound could give you away (I recomend saftey pins)
I paid $48.99. Seems it was worth every penny.
