man charged in assault with lye

Michael K Kempton,24,faces a chage of aggravated assault after alegedly throwing a cup of lye in the face of a woman monday.kempton and 18 year old meghan newquist, both transients were arguing in the upper floors of the vacant building at 911 congress st when she was hit ihn hte face with the substance Lt.PIGVern malloch said. police were called to the emergency room of maine medical center at 330 am where newquist was being treated for chemical burns to her face and eyes. kempton was arested sleeping in a friends car on hanover st. police said. police (mdea Maine drug enforcment agency kinda wierd that they got the initails of a mdma analog huh?)investagating 911 congress st found many of the chemicals used in the production of crystal methamphetamine,though there was no productoin facility set up there,malloch said.Portlands comunity policing center plans to have the building secured soon.


meghan is doing ok she sufferd 2nd and 3rd degree burns to the face/neck/belly she has luckily only sufferd slight vison loss this should be a lesson to all of us not to let idiots near corosive chems well byby :(

UPDATE
meghan is now out of the hospital and felling beter(really good after shooting up her whole sript of O.C's) her vison is slighly damged in one eye and very very cloudy in the other thankfully she wont need a skin graft.

Starting an argument with someone who had probably been up for a week with corrosive chemicals within arm's reach was probably not a great idea in the first place.

jduba just about somed it up it was an imposoble argument to avoid even when everyone was in seperate rooms. ill add before i get flamed on the dangours of givving out personal info that swim dosent mind adding info on his involment with this becasue swim was already questined and found to have 100% no involment or knowalge that a meth lab was actually runing there by the dea

i dont know about anyone were but my area (south east) but meth is crazy hot here and in my town alone 3 labs have been raided in the last few months (and one blew up) but yeah.


isnt everyone a cop now?
