SWIM's noticed a strong tingle sensation in his brain right after shooting morphine. IS this typical of morphine? if it makes any difference SWIM is using kadians.
Howdy Folks,
If SWIM really needs to know then FROGS advice would be to contact the admin of this forum (Alfa) this person could probably tell you. FROGS thinks that the Kadian is acting upon your endorphine (hense the rush feeling). FROG knows exactly how it feels & what your talking about because FROG recently had a 100 MG Kadian & had the hair on his neck stand then along came the old familiar cold chill in the back of his head/brain area. FROG is pretty sure it was just your endorphines & pain neuroceptors tweaking out which personally is an amazing feeling. Well FROG hopes that helped a little bit.

Have heard the "pins & needles" effect is quite common w/morph,especially
when IV,starts at top-head -works down to toes, once gotten used too if you don't get it can be a let down, swim thinks its great

Injecting morphine causes the release of histamine, this is what causes the pins and needles effect. Some people enjoy this sensation while others do not.
