How long does tolerance last

Im wondering how long tolerance lasts for Amphetamines, or Dextroamphetamine stays with you. I currently am up to 40mg a day of Dexedrine (dextroamp) and the euphoria has almost completely gone since I started taking it a couple months ago. 10mg of it used to give me the great feeling 40mg is starting to get less and less with each day I take it. I know I need to take a break from it so it will go down. How long should I wait? Will the euphoria ever come back?

why the fk do you want to do amphetamines every day unless medicated ??

I was up to about 80 mg's a day and I just stopped completely. My tolerance went down alot but I could never achieve the buzz that it gave me the first time.
