I've taken various types of amphetamines over the last 6 years and have never noticed any problems due to tyramine in my food. OR is it I just didn't realize it because I was unaware of this issue.

I always new from the begining that SSRI's and certain chemicals were a no go with amps, but now I have come to know the truth about tyramine in food.

SO whats the guidlines here? What foods are the biggest risk, and how far are the limits I can push (theres some foods like cheddar cheese I can't live without)? Do things change with tolerance? Any ideas here?

Thanks

Where has SWiJ got the idea that tyramines are risky when taking amfetamines? Tyramines are a no-no when taking MAOI's, not amfetamines. Amfetamines are not MAOI's. Anyone with any referenced articles saying otherwise please post/link them & I'll take it all back.

Oh, & while yer here Jdubs, please re-read The rules of drugs-forum (http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/announcement.php?f=43&a=1)

Self-incrimination will get you bad-rep, warnings & eventually banned.

im not sure there is any reason to avoid tyramine in your diet if you are using amphetamines...
