It is SWIM's understanding that Grapefruit Juice potentiates the effects of opiates and benzodiazepines. But SWIM would like to know if Grape Juice is the same as Grapefruit Juice? SWIM went to look in his fridge and discovered a 296mL bottle of 100% Grape Juice from concentrate w/ Vitamin C. So would SWIM's drink potentiate the effects of opiates and benzodiazepines?

It will not have the same effect. It's not the vitamin C that potentiates drugs. Its a different compound unique to grapefruit juice, furanocoumarin, that inhibits the liver enzymes CYP3A4 and CYP3A5.
This actually potentiates many more drugs than just opiates and benzodiazepines, there are many charts of drugs that can be affected that can be found by running a quick google search.
