Swim tried coke this summer, and he loved it, he continued using it the rest of summer maybe a couple times a week. He felt confident and like the person he wanted to be. He had complete control over himself.
Now swim goes to college and knows he needs to stop, so he stopped the day before he went. He feels antisocial, and doesn't feel like meeting new people. Before he tried cocaine he was very outgoing and willing to meet all sorts of new people. Now he stays in his room all day, goes to the gym and class, but doesn't talk to anyone. He's a sophmore so he knows the routine living in dorms, but just feels tired all day and doesn't want to do anything.
How long will these symtons last?

SWIY shouldn't really be getting any withdrawals frmo using a couple times a week for a few months, maybe he needs to put some effort in, maybe meeting people and talking to new people is actually that hard, and he never realised it cause he was on coke.
That dosen't mean do more coke, it means if you really want it, get off your ass and do it.

oxycontin seemed to help swim get over his addiction

oxycontin only works for a while. take it from swim, opiate addiction is a million times worse than a blow habit. do yourself a favor and stay away from oxys if swiy already had a coke addiction.

Probably about a month, tops. Should start diminishing in a couple weeks if SWIY stays away from coke. There's a chance it may never go away completely, but seems unlikely from a single summer's usage.

SWIM recommends exercise - it's been working great so far for SWIM. Keeps the body healthy and the mind as well. It will also boost SWIY's confidence, energy level and motivation; certainly helping with SWIY being tired all the time and not feeling like doing anything. Go for a walk, a run, lift weights. Best of luck.
It sure is tough to motivate oneself to exercise early on... the body's still burned out from stimulant over-usage, among other things. SWIY is right though about it being an excellent way to fight off depression. SWIM recommends a physical exam (particularly a heart checkup) before starting a workout program immediately after a period of moderate or greater coke use.
doesnt really sound like withdrawls, mostly probably disatisfication with the college lifestyle and not simply partyin w/ chill friends and bustin' bumps, withdrawls are far more intense, basically if you were experiencing them you wouldnt even be in college, its a hell of an experience to go through.

uh oh. SWIM has been working out this whole time, and has been on a couple binges lately
