If I am not mistaken, you did not include the following Benzodiazepine's (Click on each one for a bit more info):

D03083 Bentazepam (USAN) (http://www.genome.jp/dbget-bin/www_bget?dr+D03083)

D03631 Cyprazepam (USAN) (http://www.genome.jp/dbget-bin/www_bget?dr+D03631)

D01279 Flutoprazepam (JAN); Restas (TN) (http://www.genome.jp/dbget-bin/www_bget?dr+D01279)

Sorry I'm too lazy to report the dosages/mg available in, half-lives, equivalent dosages, etc., but check out http://www.genome.jp/dbget-bin/get_htext?Drug+-f+F+A (1st Level) and/or http://www.genome.jp/dbget-bin/get_htext?Drug+-f+F+E (5th level) for more info (You can also do a text search).
Although all the meds listed on the page are not available in the USA, some are, some can be imported, some are illegal/banned, etc. it is still a great page.

Has information for other types of meds besides benzos as well, such as narcotics, barbituates, etc. too.

Thought you all may appreciate it.

Swim never really understood these charts, equivalency of dose in reference to what? (IE: sedation, anti- convulsive, what)

Equivalence is to diazepam, for the purposes of alleviating withdrawal symptoms when detoxing. Therefore 0.5mg Alprazolam equates roughly to 10mg diazepam, which equates roughly to 20mg Temazepam.

Welcome Psychopatic: That would indeed be an astonishing resource!

FYI: Nivaripine and Tivirapine are non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors used to treat HIV infection (they stop the virus replicating)

Tibenzonium iodide is an anti infective agent used for oral hygiene

Tarazepide is a cholecystekinin A antagonist (pancreatic enzyme antagonist)

Sarmazenil is a benzodiazepine receptor inverse partial agonist. It has effects similar to flumazenil which is used to REVERSE the effects of benzodiazepines

Homochlorcyclizine is an anti-histamine (H1 receptor antagonist) similar to promethezine with some anti-cholinergic and antibradykinin activity

Dibenzepine is (as far as SWIJ can work out) a tricyclic antidepressant

Good luck in SWIY's quest, and please take some time to read the rules and find out a bit more about how df works!

Thank You!

I these substanses came up when I searched, all of the had "-xxx-benzodiazepin-xxx", in their generic names. But like clozapine, which is a medicine to treat schizophrenia, it's even called a dibenzodiazepin.

Zopiclone (Zimovane) 5-6, 15mg

Zopiclone's brand name is Immovane (typo) also SWIM disagrees with the Ashton Manual on the Zopiclone dose, she says 7.5mg of Zopiclone or less would be equivalent to 0.5mg of Clonazepam, definitely not 15mgs. When SWIM first started taking Zopiclone 3.75mg would knock her out.

The equivalence is to Diazepam, not Clonazepam. And Zopiclone IS marketed as Zimovane (in the UK anyway)

Just thought I'd add a pretty picture to this thread. I find the following kinds of charts easier to read. I hope it helps:

Chart shows equivalants, onset, peak and half life (http://www.vhpharmsci.com/VHFormulary/Tools/Benzodiazepines-comparison.htm)

Further research turns up a more accurate half-life for Rivotril (clonazepam) as between 40 and 150 hours. So it does have a pretty high range and the top end is quite high, which is what I suspected.
Anything with the same figures as diazepam, such as the excellent prazepam (Centraz, Lysanxia 40mg) has the active metabolite nordazepam. I particularly like to use the 15mg nordazepam available in many european countries, especially the excellent NORDAZ, which appears to be on sale in France only now. Calmday is more common, but Nordaz is a higher quality anxiolytic.
