Any drug that is used to suppress appetite is known as an anoretic. There are many different drugs with anoretic properties: the amphetamines, including dextro- and meth-amphetamine, the phenethylamines, cocaine, and methylphenidate (to an extent.) But these drugs aren't primarily anoretics; they are psychostimulants. There exists a group of drugs known specifically as 'anoretics', despite any psychostimulant actions they might posess.

The anoretics:
I) phentermine
II) phendimetrazine
III) Phenmetrazine
IV) diethylpropion
V) benzphetamine
VI) fenfluramine
VII) phenylpropanolamine
VIII) sibutramine
IX) oxyntomodulin
X) rimonabant

I'll use a new post to discuss each drug in detail, so be on the lookout for new posts.
